Intermediate Band

Time: 3:20 pm - 4:20 pm

Date: Thursdays - 1/29, 2/5, 2/12, 2/26, 3/5, 3/12, 3/19, 3/26, 4/9, 4/16, 4/23, 4/30, 5/7, 5/14, 5/21

Description: This performance group will meet for a 14 CLASS SESSION, once a week on Thursdays after school. Occasional extra rehearsals will be scheduled prior to performances.

Intermediate Band is an extension of music class that serves musicians who are looking to have more practice time with their instruments.  Students should have a primary instrument (vocal performance included) that they specialize in outside of school.  Students may play instruments other than their primary instrument, but they will be held to a level of accountability to meet the level of the other players. 

Students will be expected to practice and prepare musical pieces outside of class time, returning to class prepared to perform at group level. Students who wish to enroll must state their instrument in advance. Please contact Sean Allen [email protected] to confirm available space before signing up.

Note: Other specialized instruments are also welcome.

Performances: Performing opportunities will include occasional Community Meetings, Acorns to A-Chords annual music performance, and possible Napa community events.
