Grades: 6th - 8th

Time: 3:20 pm - 4:20 pm

Location: Blue Oak School (1436 Polk St, Napa CA 94559)

Date: Tuesdays - 1/14, 1/21, 1/28, 2/4, 2/11, 2/25, 3/4, 3/11, 3/18, 3/25, 4/1, 4/8, 4/22, 4/29, 5/6, 5/13, 5/20 

Description: This performance group will meet for a 17 CLASS SESSION, once a week on Tuesdays aftter school. Occasional extrea rehearsals will be schedueled prior to performances.

1.  This Is an extension of music class that would serve some of the more experienced musicians.  Repertoire would be more challenging, more room for solos, a faster paced environment.  Two performances; acorns to chords and a second yet to be determined. 
 

2.  This is not a beginner course,  Students are welcome to play instruments other than their primary instrument, but they will be held to a higher level of accountability in rising to meet the level of the other players.

 

Peformances: Performing opportunities will inlude occasional Community Meetings (dates to be determined), Acorns to A-Chords annual music performance in January (dates to be determined), and possiblee Napa community events.
