Description:
Get ready for track season with this focused 4-week training program designed to help athletes build a strong foundation before competition begins. In this course, students will learn essential track and field fundamentals including proper running form, effective breathing techniques, pacing strategies, and the importance of healthy eating for athletic performance.
Athletes will participate in a variety of workouts that combine traditional track training with plyometric exercises to improve speed, strength, coordination, and overall conditioning. Each session will include skill drills, running mechanics, agility work, and guided workouts designed to help runners move more efficiently and reduce the risk of injury.
By the end of the program, students will have a better understanding of how to train smarter, run stronger, and prepare their bodies for a successful track season.
Note: This course DOES NOT determine if a student can run track during the official season. Families still need to sign their students up to participate on the BOS Track Team.
