An 8-Week Gardening & Science Adventure

Get ready to dig in, get curious, and grow your knowledge! In this hands-on 8-week class, elementary students will explore the amazing connection between nature, gardening, and science. Through planting, observing, experimenting, and discovering, students will see how science happens all around us—right in the garden!

Students will:

• Discover what plants need to grow and survive.
• Explore the important roles of soil, water, sunlight, and air.
• Investigate bugs, pollinators, and the garden ecosystem.
• Use scientific tools to observe, measure, record, and make predictions.
• Conduct fun, age-appropriate experiments and investigations.
• Learn how gardeners use science to grow healthy plants.
• Make connections between the natural world and their everyday lives.
• Develop curiosity, teamwork, and a deeper appreciation for nature.
